filename, press the Print > Select File MENU key.
Use the Print > Select File menu to create new folder names and filenames.
Init
Press Init to initialize the parameters in Table 3-3 to their default values. Use Init to cancel an undesired set
of configuration parameters, or whenever you are uncertain of the instrument configuration.
Local
The Local key is enabled only when the 4500B is in the GPIB remote state and the Local Lockout state is
inactive. Pressing the enabled Local key returns the instrument to the GPIB Local mode. In Remote mode,
all front panel controls except the Local and PWR keys are disabled. When the Local Lockout state is
active, the Local key is also disabled.
4.8 Function Keys
The twelve function keys illustrated in Figure 4-8 access the principal control menus of the Model 4500B. Together with
associated submenus, they enable you to establish the measurement display modes and analyzer configurations; query the
processor database; perform and record measurements; perform internal diagnostics; and communicate with other devices
over the GPIB bus and serial communication ports.
Sections 4.9 through 4.19 discuss the twelve function keys and describe the selections in their associated menus and
submenus.
