Select free running or gated statistical mode
(Toggle)
Free Run, Pulse Gated
Free Run – use this mode to build a
distribution function that contains all of the
samples collected between the Start and
Stop measurement commands.
Pulse Gated – use this mode to build a
distribution function that contains only the
samples within the time interval defined by
Gate 1 and Gate 2 that are collected between
the Start and Stop measurement commands.
This mode is used to measure the statistics
of a burst that can be synchronized with the
trigger and timebase system.
TRIGger:STATistical:GATIng {ON, OFF}
OFF = Free Run; ON = Pulse Gated

Setup the pulse gate trigger parameters
(Submenu)

This menu is identical to Trig > menu above,
Table 4-9 and its submenu, Table 4-9A.
Trig > B Trigger. The paths will appear as
Trig > Trig A and Trig > Trig A > B Trig.

this setup.

Gated Stat
Mark the beginning of the statistical time gate
(Numeric)
Continuous range:
With the burst of interest synchronized in the Pulse Preview window
position the Gate 1 vertical cursor at the start of the region to be
included in the distribution function.
