For compatibility purposes, the 4500B remote interface can be set to emulate the BOONTON 4400, 4500, 4400A
(including 4400A-L) and 4500A (including 4500A-L) series of instruments. For additional discussion of this
subject, see Section 5.2. To use the 4500B SCPI interface, set the Util > Remote Conf > Emulation > Curr
Language menu selection to SCPI. To emulate the 4400/4500 legacy interface, set the Util > Remote Conf >
Emulation > Curr Language menu selection to the desired model. To control the language in use at instrument
power-up, select your choice in the in the Util > Remote Conf > Emulation > Boot Language menu box.
