MARKer:MATH:BOTH
Description:
Set the marker group to BOTH and configure the marker math function.
Syntax:
MARKer:MATH:BOTH
Argument:
Specifies the result displayed in the center marker window:
RATIO -the ratio of the left and right marker window readings in dBr or percent. The
precedence is determined by
expressed in dBr while the ratio of linear units is expressed in percent. See also PKAVG.
DELTA -valid only with
and right marker window readings expressed in channel units
AVG -the average power or voltage in the interval between the markers in channel units
MAXFMINF, PKAVG }

MAXFMINF }
For
For RATIO (except PKAVG) and DELTA measurements, specifies how the left and right
marker windows are used to calculate the center marker window.
MK1MK2 –ratio is MK1/MK2; difference is MK1-MK2
MK2MK1 -ratio is MK2/MK1; difference is MK2-MK1
MINMAX –ratio is MIN/MAX; difference is MIN-MAX
MAXMIN –ratio is MAX/MIN; difference is MAX-MIN
MINFMAXF –ratio is MINF/MAXF; difference is MINF-MAXF
MAXFMINF –ratio is MAXF/MINF; difference is MAXF-MINF
For RATIO only, Peak to Average Ratio measurements, specifies the contents of left,
right and center marker windows.
PKAVG -sets the left marker window, LAvg, to the long term average and the
right marker window, PkHld, to the instantaneous Peak in the interval between
the markers. The center marker window displays the Peak-to-Average Ratio for
the interval between the markers in dB or percent.
For AVG measurements, specifies the contents of the left and right marker windows.
MINMAX or MAXMIN –the left marker window, MIN, and the right marker
window, MAX, are the minimum and maximum instantaneous power or voltage
in the interval between markers
MINFMAXF or MAXMINF –the left marker window, MINF, and the right
marker window, MAXF, are the minimum and maximum filtered power or
voltage in the interval between the markers
{dBm, W, V, dBV, dBmV, dBuV}
Valid Modes:
Modulated, Pulse and Statistical (RATIO with MK1MK2 only) modes
