Under Physical Target:
NOTE:
When you create multiple logical targets for a single physical or target system, the
values entered under “Physical Target” must be the same for each logical target that shares
that same target system.
•
Name – the name of the NonStop system
•
Site ID – a 6-digit system serial number (it can be found in the SYSnn.RLSEID file)
•
Processor Type – from the drop-down menu, select either:

TNS = CISC processors
—
TNS/R = RISC processors
—
TNS/E = Itanium processors
•
Use Network Connection – indicate whether NonStop Software Essentials will use an
Expand connection between the host and target system. If the host and target names are
the same, this option is automatically selected and cannot be changed.
•
Tape Unload Flag – indicate whether to unload tapes after performing a NonStop Software
Essentials task.
•
Safeguard is Required – indicate whether the Safeguard application must be running
when files are being placed.
