Running Traces on the NonStop Software Essentials Client Component
To enable NonStop Software Essentials client debug options on the CMS, perform these steps:
1.
To enable debug permissions in HP SIM, enter the following from a TACL command prompt:
C:\> mxuser –m domain\username -p debug
domain\username
the same domain\username used to log on to HP SIM

To enable the display of the Debug menu in HP SIM:
C:\> copy "C:\Program Files\HP\Systems Insight Manager\hpwebadmin\webapps\ROOT\mxdebug\debug.xml" "C:\Program
Files\HP\Systems Insight Manager\actions"
After you refresh the HP SIM browser window, the Debug menu will be displayed in HP SIM:
