Guardian defaults for new files

The DSM/SCM user ID is the default owner for all new files on the logical
target. Files that replace existing files assume the same ownership as the
old file. For information the default for the DSM/SCM user ID, see
the DSM/SCM User ID” (page 53)

Security is the default security settings for all new files on the logical target.
The default is NCNC. Files that replace existing files assume the same
security as the old files.
By default activation packages do not include EMS template source files, SPI
definition files, or privileged declaration files. To include any of these types of
files, choose these options:
Include in activation package

Include EMS template source files in activation package
•
Include SPI definition files in activation package
•
Include privileged declaration files in activation package
Target System Generation Defaults
After you run INITENV with the initialize option, you must specify the output values. Otherwise,
you can review the defaults and change as necessary. To specify, review and/or change the output
values: from the Add/Modify Target popup, click the SYSGEN tab.

Description
Parameter
The name/location of a spooler to which the output listing created by the system
generation program is sent. The spooler must allow for 132-column formatted
SYSGEN report location
output. The default is $S.#SYSGEN. If system generation is required for a Build,
check that the spooler is running. You can override the default locations you
specify here when you request a report. For example:
$S.#SYSGEN
The default location where the configuration (CONFTEXT) file is placed during
a Build. The default is $SYSTEM.SYS00.CONFTEXT. For example:
CONFTEXT file
$SYSTEM.subvolume.CONFTEXT
