Checking History

When a problem arises, check the revision history and the status of requests to find the last successful
activity completed.

Checking Requests

To check the status of a specific request in NonStop Software Essentials, go to Request List Page,
which can be accessed either from the Requests menu on Menu bar or the Show Requests link on
the NonStop Software Essentials Home page. On the Request List Page, click on the individual
request name to access the Request Status Page for that request. For more information, see

Chapter 14: “Managing Requests”

Checking Error Messages

Error messages provide valuable information about the cause of a software management problem.
You can access error messages from several sources. You can use NonStop Software Essentials
or ZPHITMI to check error messages.

Check for errors.

Review and address all associated errors.
