The work panel contains a list of items in the profile, most of which can be changed:

Description Parameter
This is a read-only field, showing the name of the host system. Host system name
Used to specify the default tape drive. Enter a tape drive name or choose from
among the list of tape drives displayed under the drop-down menu. Tape drive name
Used to specify the number of days that completed or canceled requests are kept
in the database. This default value is set to 5 days after DSM/SCM is initialized.

Target System Profile
Whether you maintain system profiles from the host or target systems depends on whether your
site practices centralized or local system management. You can update system profile information
through the following interfaces:
