determine that the product T9545AAA requires including the products T6556AAI and
T9544G01 in the new software revision

Builds a configuration revision containing new software for a target system

Resolves discrepancies between target and host file information

Initiates and monitors the applying of configuration revisions on target systems if the host and
target systems are connected using Expand

Investigates and resolves processing errors

Receives a snapshot from a target system onto the host system if the host and target systems
are not network connected

Other planner tasks can include:

Initiating a backout on a target system to the previously applied software revision

Initiating an audit function to start the Inventory Collector, thus updating the target database
