IGNORE-SAFEGUARD-PROTECTION
bypasses the Safeguard security setting on target even if Safeguard is found to be up. Pass
this PARAM to the PATHWAY server TA-001. This PARAM inactivates the Safeguard ACL for
files in fabricated name, to prevent a possible misuse. If Safeguard is up and you don’t specify
this PARAM, DSM/SCM always applies an adopted Safeguard security to the files placed in
SYSnn, CSSnn and SYSTEM TSVs. Therefore, whether a file is placed in real or fabricated
name, it inherits the same Safeguard ACL as specified for its previous version. Those files only
inherit an adopted Guardian security. If Safeguard has the PERSISTENT attribute set to ON for
disk files, these files might still be protected with Safeguard security automatically upon
completion of APPLY (or ZPHIRNM, in case of files placed in fabricated names). See
“IGNORE-SAFEGUARD-PROTECTION” (page 244)
KEEP-OBSOLETE-SYSNN
allows you to keep obsolete SYSnn TSVs. Pass this PARAM to the PATHWAY server TA-001.
If this PARAM is passed without a value, none of the obsolete SYSnn and CSSnn TSVs are
purged. See also DELETE-OBSOLETE-TSVS. See
“KEEP-OBSOLETE-SYSNN” (page 245)
NO-ACTIVATION-DIALOUT-REPORT
prevents the creation of the software configuration dial-out report. Pass this PARAM to the
PATHWAY server CB-001. You can enable the generation of the dial-out report again by
deleting this PARAM.
NO-DB-OWNER-SERVER
specifies to use the Super ID (255,255) to communicate across the EXPAND network for the
Build, Apply, Create snapshot, and Receive snapshot. Pass this PARAM to the PATHWAY server
CB-001 or TA-001. By default, all communication between a host system and a target system
uses the DSM/SCM user ID.
