OMMAND OVERVIEW
The Command overview chapter lists all the PEL-
2000 commands and command queries .The
command syntax section shows you the basic rules
you have to apply when using commands.
Command Syntax
Compatible
standard  IEEE488.2, 1992 (fully compatible)
 SCPI, 1994 (partially compatible)
Command types There are a number of different instrument
commands and queries. A command sends
instructions or data to the electronic load and a
query receives data or status information from the
electronic load.
Command Types
Simple A single command with/without
a parameter
Example *OPC
Compound Two or more commands
separated by a colon (:)
with/without a parameter
Example UTILITY:SOUND 1
Query A query is a simple or compound
command followed by a question
mark (?). A parameter (data) is
returned.
Example UTILITY:SOUND?
