3.10 Menu Bar and Toolbar (Tools)
3.10.1 Compile
It is used to compile editing screen to the format for HMI. During compiling, all of the
compiling messages, including any errors, will be written to output field. When there is any
error occurs, system will remind the user. If there was no error during compiling process, an
object file would be produced.
To compile the editing screen, select Tools > Compile or click icon directly or press Ctrl
+ F7. If this project is a new project, it will remind the user of saving before compiling. If this
project has been saved or it is an old project, it will compile directly without prompt. After
compile operation is finished, ScrEdit will save the file again automatically.
Debug Compiling Error during Compiling Process
1. Create a new project.
2. Create a button element and a numeric entry element on HMI screen and do not
change the element default property as the figure below.
