Network Explorer Options
The Network Explorer is an auto-hide window that displays a hierarchal view of the OpenLNS CT
drawing. You can use the Network Explorer to navigate, view, and modify the subsystems, devices,
and device templates in your network design.
The Network Explorer category contains the following options. The changes you make in the Network
Explorer options category are applied to all networks on your computer.
Enable Network Explorer
Enables the network explorer to appear in your OpenLNS CT
drawing. This option is selected by default.
Scope: All networks, current OpenLNS CT computer
Network Explorer Options
Show ToolTips
Enables the name of the OpenLNS CT object and its absolute
path to appear in a ToolTip when the mouse pointer is
positioned over the object. This option is selected by default.
Scope: All networks, current OpenLNS CT computer
Displayed Objects
Select the scope of the objects displayed within the network
explorer. You have four choices:
• Subsystems Only. Lists only the subsystems in the
OpenLNS CT network.
• Subsystems and Devices. Lists the subsystems and
devices in the OpenLNS CT network.
• Subsystems, Devices, and FBs. Lists the subsystems,
devices, and functional blocks in the OpenLNS CT
network.
• Subsystems, Devices, FBs, and NVs. Lists the
