Tab
Selection Description
Audio Port
Service Name
Used to identify the stream name.
Service Type (Local or
Streaming)
Used to indicate the service type. Selecting Local allows a
legacy source to be played only in that room. Selecting
Streaming allows the local source to be played throughout
the home.
NOTE:
If streaming is enabled the SpeakerLinX cannot host
a media server stream.
Local Source (Enabled or
Disabled)
Local will allow a legacy source to be played only in that
room.
Streaming will allow the local source to be played throughout
the home. If streaming is enabled the SpeakerLinX will not
be available to host a media server stream.
If an Audio Port is connected to the SpeakerLinX, make sure
that service is enabled, otherwise it will not work. If no Audio
Port is connected, the service should be disabled. If you
want to add an Audio Port later, you can enable the service
at that time.
