The tool holder moves. The UV lamp will be switched on.
The
UV Light
button shows the remaining irradiation period. The lamp symbol appears in the status area.

HEPA air filter
Air is drawn in using a fan. This aspirated air is filtered by the HEPA air filter. A continuous and filtered air
flow is guided into the epMotion work room.
11.10.1 Switching on the HEPA air filter
Prerequisites
• The epMotion is equipped with a CleanCap.
• All surfaces in the epMotion work room are disinfected.
• The front hood is closed.
• The epMotion is ready for operation.
• epBlue was started.
Select the
Settings
symbol on the start screen.
On the
epMotion serial number
tab, select the
HEPA filter
function.
Press the
HEPA filter ON
button.

WARNING! Risk of infection due to aerosols.
If you are using a HEPA air filter, a continous air flow is blown from the working chamber of
the epMotion into its surroundings. The air flow can transport aerosols and contaminate the
ambience.
Do not use the HEPA air filter when working with biohazardous substances.
Desinfect contaminated surfaces in the working chamber of the epMotion before switching
on the HEPA air filter.
