only if you change the combine head.
Check the cut swath (press the SWATH key) or number of cut rows
(press the # ROWS key). Unless you are harvesting a partial swath, the
head swath and cut swath are the same. If you need to increase or
decrease head swath (cut swath cannot go above the head swath), use
the RIGHT ARROW key to move the cursor to the value of the head
swath or head rows and use the top-right UP ARROW key to increase
the head swath or rows. Cut swath or cut rows automatically adjusts to
the value of the head swath or head rows.
If the head swath is correct, but you need to adjust the cut swath or cut
rows, make sure the cursor is under the cut swath or cut rows value and
use the top-right UP or DOWN ARROW keys to adjust the cut swath or
cut rows to the correct value.
Note: If you accidentally set your swath incorrectly for an entire load or
loads you can use the acre calibration number to set the acres correctly for
each load. Refer to the Acre Counting document in the Operation section.
2. The distance is not counting correctly (mph is incorrect).
Solution: Press the distance key to display feet in the field or load. If
feet is noticeably wrong (the speed will be incorrect if distance is
incorrect), refer to the troubleshooting instructions for “Incorrect
Distance and MPH”.
3. The acre calibration number is set incorrectly.
Solution: Display the field and load on the top line. Press the AREA key
until “AC CAL=xxx.x” appears on the display. This number should be
set to 100. If it is set to a different number, it will count the percentage
the number represents.
Example: AC CAL=75 means the monitor will count only 75 percent
of the actual acres. If AC CAL=125, the monitor will count 125 percent
of the actual acres.
Use the bottom-right UP or DOWN ARROW keys to adjust the AC
CAL number to 100. The acre calibration number can be set differently
for each load. Check loads that have already been created, ensuring that
the number is set correctly. If it was set incorrectly, the monitor
automatically makes the acres correct when you set the correct acre
calibration number for each load.
4. Distance and acre counting are not activated because the area count light
is on.
