Introduction Ag Leader Technology is committed to supplying you the most advanced
products for site specific farming. We are committed to designing those
products so that they can be upgraded and will thus be of great value to you
for many years.
Adaptability You can adapt the Yield Monitor 2000 to use on tractors or other vehicles
to log GPS data or record spraying, planting, or fertilizer application rate
data and produce a map. Explanations are provided in this section for using
the monitor to do site verification and application rate mapping, among other
capabilities.
Buying Other
Components You can now buy a GPS receiver, yield mapping program, and a field
marker from Ag Leader Technology. Refer to the explanations below.
GPS Receiver Ag Leader Technology offers the GPS 2000, a Coast Guard Compatible
GPS receiver with accuracy under one meter. The receiver has a display and
keypad. It is the most advanced Coast Guard GPS receiver available. It locks
on two differential beacon towers at once and automatically switches to the
beacon tower with the highest strength signal. It also locks on very well to a
weak beacon signal. It can be used by itself to mark field boundaries,
navigate, and provide ground-speed signal.
Yield Mapping
Program Ag Leader Technology offers Precision Map 2000, a mapping program that
processes and archives the memory cards. It can process and archive
memory cards and make a map of your yield, site verification, application
rate, and field marker data.
Field Marker You can use the field marker to mark up to four items in a field while you
harvest, or to perform site verifications or application rate mapping. The
four items can be anything for which you want to mark a location (weeds,
tile holes, wet hole). You can then obtain a field marker data map.
