6. The load you are harvesting is set on the wrong grain type.

Solution: Display the data load (load with an arrow to the right of the
load number, e.g., L4->) and then press the GRAIN key to display the
grain type for the data load. If the load was harvested while set on the
wrong grain type, you can change the load to the correct grain type on
the monitor, except when you are changing either to or from CORN or
SPECIAL CORN (all other grain type combinations can be changed
from one to another to provide correct calculation of weight).

With the grain type displayed, use the bottom-left UP or DOWN
ARROW keys to set the load(s) to the correct grain type (you must
display each load and change the grain type for each load, one at a time).
For a grain type that must go to or from CORN or SPECIAL CORN,
create new loads (maybe even a new field because your field totals will
be incorrect) in that field, ensuring they are set for the correct grain type,
and begin to harvest again.

7. You adjusted the top shaft of the grain elevator during harvest to tighten

the elevator chain.

Solution: If you move the top shaft of the grain elevator, it changes how

the grain hits the flow sensor, and calibration becomes inaccurate. You
must either:

Erase all your calibration loads by setting the actual weights to 0 and

entering new actual weights and then calibrate again

Begin using a different grain type for that crop, enter actual weights,

and calibrate for that grain type. You must do this for the all the
crops you have harvested so far.

Tip: Use the lower elevator adjuster to tighten the elevator chain, instead of
adjusting the top shaft.

8. The dry lbs/bu setting is incorrect, which causes bushels to calculate

incorrectly.

Solution: Press the GRAIN key to display “xx DRY LB/B”, for the

grain type you are harvesting. You can change the dry lbs/bu on every
grain type except CORN (56 lbs/bu), SOYBEANS (60 lbs/bu), and
WHEAT (60 lbs/bu). Use the bottom-left UP or DOWN ARROW keys
to change the dry lbs/bu value to the correct value for that grain type.
After the correct dry lbs/bu value is set, bushels and bushels per acre are
corrected on all the loads set on that grain type.

Note: Set the dry lbs/bu only once. If you think the bushels are incorrect,

troubleshoot the grain-weight calibration.
