Logging Map Data to a Card

Follow this process if you decide to format and initialize the card (if you
press the YES key):
Stage Description
1 When you press the YES key to answer “PRESS YES TO ERASE
CARD PRESS NO TO ADD TO A CARD”, the monitor warns
you that you will lose the data on the card if you continue. Press the
YES key to continue.
2 The message “CARD NEEDS FORMATTED FORMAT AND
COPY TO CARD?” appears on the display. Press the YES key to
format the card.
3 The monitor then automatically checks the card battery, determines
the card size, and checks the card memory to determine whether it is
good.
4 After the monitor finishes formatting the card, “x.x M CARD
READY TO LOG PRESS A KEY TO CONTINUE” appears on
the display.
Copying Data to
Memory Cards Follow the steps below to copy data from the main memory to a card. You
must copy memory to a card before you read the memory card into
your computer.
Step Action
1 Press the MEM key until “COPY MEMORY TO CARD?” appears
on the display.
2 Press the YES key.
Note: When you copy memory to the backup, the memory is copied
to the card if the monitor is set to log to a card and a card is in the
monitor.
If the yield monitor has not formatted a card to which you are attempting to
copy data, the message “CARD NEEDS FORMATTED FORMAT AND
COPY TO CARD?” appears on the display.

If you press the YES key, the card will be formatted and the data copied
to it. If, however, the card already contains data, you will erase that data
when you format the card.

If you press the NO key, you will not format the card or copy data to it.
