Yield Monitor 2000

Ag Leader Technology

June 1997

5-16

Full Memory Card

The monitor beeps when the card is full. Before you download or process
the memory card into Precision Map 2000, you must copy memory to
card.
When you copy memory to backup, the monitor copies memory to
the card if you have a card in the monitor. Press the MEM key to access
Copy Memory to Card and Copy Memory to Backup.

Counting Acres

Use the area count switch to manually start and stop acre counting when
turning around at the ends of rows. Put the area count switch in the up
position to begin counting acres and put it in the down position to stop
counting acres.

An implement switch automatically starts and stops acre counting if the area
count switch is in the up position.

Adjust for a partial swath by pressing the # ROWS or SWATH keys. Use
the top DOWN ARROW key to set the cutting rows or cutting swath to the
correct value. The monitor chirps to notify the operator of a partial swath
setting when the cutting swath is less than the permanent swath.

Mapping Site
Verification Data

After your card is full of site data, you must process the card using Precision
Map 2000 and a card reader. Refer to your Precision Map 2000 manual for
further instructions. After the card is processed or archived, the site data can
be mapped by Precision Map 2000 or exported from Precision Map 2000 by
field or load using the basic or advanced format. The exported data file then
must be loaded into a mapping program to make the map.

Mapping programs create a legend based on differences in yield and
moisture. Because the site verification data that is exported from Precision
Map 2000 has a yield value of 0, your mapping program must be able to
create a map legend based on different load numbers and/or names. The site
verification map will be one color unless your mapping program can create a
legend based on the load. Consult your mapping software company about
this issue.
