If you use a controller tee adapter, which includes power connections for a
planter and anhydrous or sprayer controller, you do not need to buy a
separate power cable, unless you use the monitor for another application that
requires a Power Cable.
Tractor Battery Power Cable. This cable connects to the distribution cable
that attaches to the cab cable outside the tractor cab. You must buy this
cable to do application rate mapping unless you can use a controller tee
adapter, which provides all the required connections.
Tractor Power Cable Adapter. This adapter connects to the tractor battery
power cable and to the monitor’s 25-pin connector. Use this cable only when
you are doing site verification and you want to connect the tractor battery
power cable directly to the monitor to provide power. If you are using the
distribution cable, you must connect the tractor battery power cable to the
distribution cable, so you will not need the tractor power cable adapter.
Tractor Auxiliary Power Tee Cable. This cable connects to power at a
three-pin round auxiliary power connector in the cab of most newer tractors.
The cable connects directly to the 25-pin connector on the bottom of the
monitor. The auxiliary power connector in your tractor must be an Amp
three-pin connector with male pins having Pin 2 unswitched power and Pin 3
as ground.
ATV Battery Power Cable. This cable connects directly to a vehicle’s
battery to provide only power to the monitor. You can use it on any vehicle,
but it is usually used on ATVs.
Cigarette Lighter Power Cable. This cable connects directly to the 25-pin
connector on the bottom of your monitor to provide only power to the
monitor. You can use this cable in tractors, trucks and on ATVs that have a
cigarette lighter.
Controller Tee
Adapters These tee adapters connect directly into the cab cable, eliminating the need
for the distribution cable. Depending on demand, Ag Leader Technology
may develop tee adapters for other controllers.
Rawson Accu-Plant Tee Adapter. This adapter allows you to get all the
signals the yield monitor requires by teeing into the 16-pin connection on the
back of the Rawson controller box.
Raven Tee Adapter. This adapter allows you to get all the signals the
monitor requires by teeing into the 3- and 16-pin connectors on the back of
