Logging Map Data to a Card
Yield Monitor 2000
Ag Leader Technology
June 1997
4-36
If you start the combine separator without a card in place and the monitor is
set to log to a card, the monitor’s alarm will sound continuously and
“INSTALL MEMORY CARD” will appear on the display. Two possible
actions will allow you to continue to use the monitor:
•
Insert a memory card.
•
Disengage the separator, shut off the monitor and turn it back on again
and set the logging device equal to none.
Setting the
Logging Interval
Follow these steps to set the memory card logging interval:
Step
Action
1
Press the SETUP key until “1 or 2 or 3 SEC LOGGING
INTERVAL” appears on the display.
2
Use the top UP and DOWN ARROW keys to select 1, 2, or 3
seconds. The recommended setting is either 2 or 3 seconds.
Note: A one-second logging interval probably will record more
yield points than you need for yield-mapping purposes. Consult with
your mapping software supplier about setting this value.
When the monitor records a yield reading for any one of the logging
intervals, it takes an average of all the yield readings in that interval.
The number of hours of instantaneous yield data that can be logged on a
memory card depends on the card size and logging interval, listed below:
