• When using an Emulex HBA driver on Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS4/ES4 Update 1,
execute the following command:
# echo "scsi add-single-device a b c d" > /proc/scsi/scsi
• When using any of the following OS and HBA driver combinations:
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS4/ES4 Update 3 or later and a QLogic HBA driver
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 or Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 and a QLogic HBA driver
- SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server and a QLogic HBA driver
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS4/ES4 Update 3 or later and an Emulex HBA driver
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 or Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 and an Emulex HBA
driver
- SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server and an Emulex HBA driver
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 or Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 and a Brocade HBA driver
- SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server and a Brocade HBA driver
Execute the following command:

IP-address-of-the-target
Then, log in to the target to establish a session.
# iscsiadm -m node -T
target-name

IP-address-of-the-target
:
port-number-of-the-target
