checked in step 9, change the HDLM device names on the
DEVICE
line to the
SCSI device names.
Before the correction:
DEVICE /dev/sddlmaa1 /dev/sddlmab1
After the correction:
DEVICE /dev/sdh1 /dev/sdi1
When you edit the
DEVICE
line, change only the device names. Do not change the
partition numbers.
11. If necessary, change the disk partition type of the SCSI devices back to
fd
.
When you change the disk partition type to
fd
, the md device is automatically
activated when the host restarts, even if the
/etc/mdadm.conf
file does not
exist.
The following example shows how to execute the
fdisk
command to change the
disk partition type to
fd
:
# fdisk /dev/sddlmaa
