Initial Set Up and Navigation
SCT™ Systems
The following procedure contains information for configuring section widths for Seed Hawk SCT systems. See
the Base Systems section on page 44 for information on the Section Width Setup screen for the Seed Hawk
Base systems.
1. Enter the width of each section configured on the previous screen starting with section 1 on the far left of
the implement.
To determine the width of a section, multiply the number of shanks in the section by the row spacing. The
number of shanks in a section may be determined by counting the supply lines on each tower of the drill.
Note:
To change the number of configured sections, touch the Prev button to go back to the Drill Setup
screen.
2. Touch the OK button to accept the programmed settings and return to the Viper Pro main screen.
Note:
If a seed blockage node is connected to the Seed Hawk Viper Pro, touch the Next button
displayed on this screen to set up the sensor loops. Refer to Chapter 11, Seed Blockage Sensors,
for more information on setting up the seed blockage feature with the Seed Hawk system.
