RxMaps Folder
The RxMaps folder contains the prescription maps used for future jobs. The .shp, .shx, and .dbf files
associated with the prescription map must be saved into this folder. Viper Pro uses these files to generate a
file with a .mem extension that is used by the Viper Pro software.
The .mem file is stored in a proprietary binary format and is not viewable.
Note:
Prescription map files may be organized into sub-folders within the RxMaps folder for organizing
files stored on the USB flash drive.
AgXRec Sub-folder
The AgXRec sub-folder contains AgX recommendation prescription map files associated with AgX jobs.
Note:
Do not remove, rename or overwrite any job files stored in the AgXRec sub-folder. Modifying these
files will cause errors with the AgX job features on the Viper Pro field computer.
RxMaps\colors Sub-folder
The colors sub-folder contains the color information files for the prescription maps. These files have an .rxc
extension. Viper Pro creates these files when a color template is created for a prescription map. Viper Pro
saves one file for each template.
These files are used by the Viper Pro software and are not viewable.
Scout Folder
The scout folder contains the scouting information files with a .sct extension if scouting information has been
created for jobs on the Viper Pro. Viper Pro creates one file for each job.
Store previously created field boundaries in this folder and make sure that any .shp, .shx, and .dbf files
associated with the field boundary files are also stored here.
These files are used by the Viper Pro software and are not viewable.
Settings Folder
The settings folder contains the information files used by the Viper Pro product control system and includes
machine profiles and user settings selected on the field computer. These files can be transferred between field
computers using the file maintenance features.

Streetmaps Folder
The streetmaps folder contains the downloaded Tiger road files. Make sure that all three files (.shp, .shx, and
.dbf) associated with the road maps for each county are stored in this folder.
