Setting the Pivot Pattern
With a job in progress, select the Guide tab at the right of the Viper Pro display. To begin swath guidance with
the pivot pattern:
1. Start with the machine located at a point on the outside of the center pivot area and touch the ‘Set A’ button
on the screen.
2. Drive along the outside of the pivot pattern area and touch the ‘Set B’ button on the screen. Viper will create
a circular guidance path using the ‘A’ and ‘B’ points selected and display guidance paths toward the inside
of the circle.
Note:
Currently, this pattern does not require that a complete pivot pass be driven in order to generate
guidance, however, the best results are usually obtained by driving as much of the first swath as
possible before setting the ‘B’ point of the pivot pattern.
