4. Fill in the required information and be sure to select the ‘New Slingshot User Acct.’ option for the request
type.
5. Select ‘Submit Query’ to submit the user account information. Login information will be sent to the user
email address provided in the form within 24 hours of the request.
Uploading Job Reports from a USB to the Slingshot Website
1. Insert the USB flash drive into a home or office PC and login to the Raven Slingshot website at:
www.ravenslingshot.com
2. Select the desired language in the upper, left corner of the site.
3. Click on ‘Log In’ in the upper, right corner of the site.
4. Enter the account username and password and select ‘Sign On.’
5. Select the ‘Upload As-Applied File’ option along the right side of the screen and click ‘Browse.’
6. Locate the job data package (.jdp.zip) file located on the connected flash drive. The Viper Pro automatically
stores transfers the files to the “X:\RDE\Outbox” directory when performing USB or automatic file
maintenance where “X” is the drive letter assigned by the computer to the connected flash drive.
7. Allow the Raven Slingshot site to process the file.
8. To begin working with reports uploaded to the Raven Slingshot website, select the drop down menu next to
the desired job. Select the desired action to perform on the selected job:
• Delete - removes the job from the Slingshot website.
• View - displays the job report for printing or editing. A coverage map will be displayed for each product
enabled during the application.
• Save - export shapefiles for use in third party GIS (Global Information System) software utilities.
9. When finished working with job and report files, select the ‘logout’ option in the upper, right corner of the
screen.
