Jobs Folder
The jobs folder contains general job information files that have a .job extension. Viper Pro saves one file fore
each job.
These files are stored in a proprietary binary format and are not viewable.
RAD Folder
The rad folder contains log files for each job stored on the Viper Pro field computer. Job files are stored on the
Viper Pro in a .jdf file.

Rbin Folder
Note:
The rbin folder is only present if the Viper Pro has been updated to version 3.4 or higher from a
previous software version. The rbin folder will only contain rbin files created with older software
versions and currently stored on the Viper Pro.
The rbin folder contains the Viper Pro log files. These files contain the information needed to create the
application report. You will need the Rbin Viewing Utility software to view and print the application report. This
utility also allows you to export the rbin file to a shapefile format to use in other software programs. Raven
supplies the Rbin Viewer utility free of charge to registered Viper users. It is also recommended to archive
rbins for future reference.
Recommendations
The recommendations folder contains AgX pre-populated job files. When transferring pre-populated job files to
the Viper Pro, the SST Summit software (required) will load all required files into the RDE folder located in the
root directory of the USB flash drive.
Note:
Do not remove, rename or overwrite any job files stored in the recommendations folder. Modifying
these files will cause errors with the AgX job features on the Viper Pro field computer.
A “recommendations.rdi” file is also stored in this folder on the Viper Pro. This is an index file used by the Viper
Pro software and is not viewable. If no recommendations are stored on the Viper Pro, the .rdi file will
automatically be removed.
