Sectional Control Technology™ (SCT)
This section contains instructions for setting up the Seed Hawk Viper Pro and SCT system. For instructions on
the setup of an Base system, see the Base Setup section on page 166.
If the drill sections have not already been configured for SCT mode, be sure to follow the Section Setup Wizard
section on page 164 to configure the tractor and drill sections. The SCT system is capable of automatic section
control for eight drill sections. The soil openers for each of these sections may be controlled automatically by
the SCT system to minimize soil disturbance and help reduce moisture loss and erosion.
Section Control Setup Screen
Touch within the Section Status area on the main screen to begin setting up the SCT system.
The Section Control Setup screen will be displayed.
