Section 7–Changing the Controller’s IP Settings for Access Over a Network ATC300-1000/2000 Teletilt

7.1 Configuring the Controller Using A Local Computer
Carefully read Section 7.0 Section Overview (page 1) before proceeding with any configuration
changes to the controller’s IP settings.
1. If the controller is on a network, disconnect it from the network and then power cycle the
controller.
2. Connect the controller to the local computer using the Ethernet cable provided.
3. Change the local computer’s IP address to be compatible to the controller’s IP settings
(see Sections 3 and 4).
4. Open an Internet browser (Netscape and Mozilla browsers are not supported). Type the control-
ler’s Ethernet IP address into the URL address window, and click on Go (Figure 7-1).
Note that the factory default IP address for the controller is 192.168.255.141.
See Section 5 for cases where the controller’s IP address has been changed and is unknown.
