a. Loss of control hazard.
b. WARNING
To avoid serious injury or death from loss of control:
i.
Do
not
make
abrupt
changes
in
steering direction.
ii. Anticipate turns by slowing down well in
advance.
iii. Do not rapidly accelerate or decelerate
while turning.
iv. Limit speed to maximum 20 mph (32 km/h)
when towing a header. To ensure steering
control refer to operator’s manual for adding
weight to drive wheels.
v. When travelling on steep slopes:
1) Reduce speed and lower header.
2) Move ground speed lever to slow end
of range.
3) Shift high-low speed control to low range.
vi. With header removed, steering control is
reduced if weight is not added to drive wheels.
If you must drive the windrower without header
or MacDon weight system:
1) Operate in low speed range.
2) Avoid slopes.
3) Do not tow a header.
IF CONTROL
OF MACHINE IS LOST, IMMEDIATELY
PULL GROUND SPEED LEVER TO
NEUTRAL

a. High pressure oil hazard.
b. WARNING
Do not go near leaks.
• High pressure oil easily punctures skin causing
serious injury, gangrene, or death.
• If injured, seek emergency medical help.
Immediate surgery is required to remove oil.
• Do not use finger or skin to check for leaks.
• Lower load or relieve hydraulic pressure before
loosening fittings.
