5.7.6 Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) System
Fresh Air Intake Filter
The fresh air filter is located outside the right rear of the cab and should be serviced every 50 hours under normal
conditions and more frequently in severe conditions.
Removing Fresh Air Filter
DANGER
Stop engine and remove key from ignition before leaving operator's seat for any reason. A child or even a
pet could engage an idling machine.
1. Open the right-hand platform. Refer to 5.5.1 Opening
Platforms (Standard Position), page 269 .
2. Rotate latch (A) and slide filter tray (B) out of
the housing.
