Air Conditioning Condenser
The air conditioning condenser should be cleaned daily with compressed air. More frequent cleaning may be
necessary in severe conditions.
Cleaning the condenser can be done at the same time as the radiator, oil cooler, and charge air cooler. Refer to
Maintaining Engine Cooling Box, page 315
.
Air Conditioning Evaporator
The air conditioning evaporator should be checked annually for cleanliness. If the air conditioning system produces
insufficient cooling, a possible cause is clogged evaporator fins. Fins will clog up from the side opposite the
blowers. The evaporator is located inside the heating air conditioning unit under the cab. It is accessed by
removing the cover from the unit.
