ATTENTION
Only plug in or disconnect the the memory module from parameterisation adapter if the
connection to the PC has been disconnected! Otherwise the memory module and the
SK EPG
– 3H may be damaged. In addition, communication errors may occur during the
operation of NORD CON.
6.4.3 Parameterisation adapter LEDs
The operating status of the SK EPG-3H parame-
terisation adaptor is indicated by 2 frontmounted LEDs.

Fault Cause / Remedy
NORDCON cannot find a device USB device driver not installed
Install driver
Wrong baud rate set in NORDCON
in Extras → Communication settings: set 38400 Baud
Wrong COM port selected in NORDCON

SK EPG-3H and NORDCON report
"Parameter loss" Memory module has been removed or is not correctly plugged in to the
parameterisation adapter
Disconnect SK EPG-3H from the PC, correctly insert the, memory module
and
restore the connection.
Data set in the memory module is
unchanged after writing Memory module was not (not correctly) plugged in on boot up of the
SK EPG-3H. The parameterisation adapter functions with the internal data
memory.
