profile
Configures an SNMP notification profile. A notification profile is a named
list of all the notification types that can be generated by a switch, and for
each notification type, the action to take (drop or send) when an event
occurs.
You can configure up to ten notification profiles.
Syntax —
set snmp notify profile {default | profile-name}
{drop | send} {notification-type | all}
default | profile-name
— Name of the notification profile you are
creating or modifying. The profile-name can be up to 32
alphanumeric characters long, with no spaces. To modify the default
notification profile, specify default.
drop | send
— Specifies the action that the SNMP engine takes with
regard to the notifications you specify with notification-type or all.
notification-type
— Name of the notification type:
APBootTraps—Generated when a MAP access point boots.
ApNonOperStatusTraps—Generated to indicate a MAP radio is
nonoperational.
ApOperRadioStatusTraps—Generated when the status of a
MAP radio changes.
APTimeoutTraps—Generated when a MAP access point fails to
respond to the WX switch.
AuthenTraps—Generated when the WX switch’s SNMP engine
receives a bad community string.
AutoTuneRadioChannelChangeTraps—Generated when the
RF Auto-Tuning feature changes the channel on a radio.
