6.14 Trip-less intensification
6.14.1 Retry function
H : Retry selection (selecting the no. of times)

Mandatory
• Stand clear of motors and equipment.
The motor and equipment stop when the alarm is given, selection of the retry function will restart them
suddenly after the specified time has elapsed. This could result in unexpected injury.
• Take measures for safety, e.g. attach a cover to the motor, to prevent accidents if the motor suddenly
restarts.
• Function
This parameter resets the inverter automatically when the inverter gives an alarm. During the retry mode,
the motor speed search function operated automatically as required and thus allows smooth motor
restarting.

function. (factory default setting)
+ A virtual cooling time is provided for overload tripping (QN, QN, QNT).

In this case, the retry function operates after the virtual cooling time and retry time.
+ In the event of overvoltage tripping (QR~QR), re-tripping may result unless the DC voltage decreases below a
predetermined level.
+ In the event of overheating-caused tripping (QJ), re-tripping may result unless the internal temperature decreases
below a predetermined level, since the internal temperature detection function of the inverter works.
