Introduction
The Batch Portable application on the handheld device supports the fol-
lowing asset inventory functions:
•
Physical Inventory: supports physical inventory counting of consum-
able items and check out items via the handheld device.
•
Moving Inventory: moves consumable items from one location to
another or changes the normal location of check out items via the hand-
held device.
Counting Physical Inventory
Physical inventories are used to either update or verify the information
already in the Inventory table. To record physical inventory counts with the
Batch Portable application, please refer to the instructions below.
Note: The entries on the screen throughout the application may be
scanned or keyed. If drop-down boxes are available, entries may be
selected from the drop-down list.
1.
From the Main screen, tap the Inventory button. The Inventory menu
appears.
2.
Select Physical Inventory from the Inventory menu. The Physical
Inventory menu appears.
