Additional functions of the positioning profile (C3096/x)
ƒ
Speed override
– The term "Override" refers to the variation of the speed set in the positioning
profile via the analog input (10 V
º 100 %) and/or by means of the process data
object (PDO) via CAN, AIF, C4040.
ƒ
Torque limitation after positioning
– After completion of positioning the torque is limited to a defined value after a
certain time has elapsed.
ƒ
Profile continuation after profile abort
– If the profile continuation function is activated and traversing of the profile is
stopped, this profile can be completed with a renewed profile start.
– If the profile continuation function is deactivated, the stopped positioning process
is considered to be completed when the profile is started anew (changing back to
the "Positioning" state).
ƒ
Immediate profile change during positioning(direct change)
– If a new profile number is defined during a positioning process, the new
positioning profile is started immediately without completing the previous
positioning process.
– Condition: Direct Change must be activated for the new profile (C3096).
ƒ
Stretch factor for "electrical shaft"
– The "electrical shaft" drive function is used for line drives when several drives are
to be traversed with synchronous phase angle and speed, for instance, because
they act upon the same web. Via an adjustable stretch factor (profile parameters
C3097/C3098), the web tension can be varied between the contact points of the
drives at the web (electronic gearbox).
– The machine parameters for the gearbox ratio (C1202/C1203,
an effect on positioning and have no impact on the "electrical shaft" drive
function.
