Override via analog input (override−AIN)
ƒ
Activation of the override AIN: C3096/x.Bit0 = 1 (xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxx1)
ƒ
Scaling: 10 V
= 16384 = 100 %
Example: Calculation of the effective speed (v
real
)
ƒ
Profile traversing speed (v
prof
) = 5000 mm/s
ƒ
Override−AIN = 80 %

6.17.12.2
Override via process data object (override−PDO)
ƒ
Activation of the override PDO: C3096/x.Bit3 = 1 (xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.1xxx)
ƒ
Scaling: 16384
= 100 %
ƒ
Transmission via data word "rx_par1" (VelDirect)
Example: Calculation of the effective speed (v
real
)
ƒ
Profile traversing speed (v
prof
) = 5000 mm/s
ƒ
Override−PDO = 50 %
v

+ v

@ Override−PDO [%]
Þ

ńs @ 50 % + 2500 mmńs
Direct positioning without override−PDO
ƒ
Transmission:
Data word "rx_par1" (VelDirect) = profile traversing speed
(Is accepted once for the profile start.)
Direct positioning with override−PDO
ƒ
Transmission:
Data word "rx_par1" (VelDirect) = override PDO
(Is accepted cyclically, also during positioning.)
v
real
+ Vel_max @ Override−PDO [%]
v
real
effective speed
Vel_max
maximum permissible speed (C1240)
Special feature with the "Continuous constant travel (direct)" with override−PDO:
When the "Continuous constant travel (direct)" starts, the sign of the PDO data word
"rx_par1" determines the direction of rotation. The override influence itself continues to
be effected according to amount.
