Start of positioning profile by selecting a new profile number "PNoSet_x"
Precondition
The ECSxP axis module must be in the "positioning" mode and thus ready to start. The axis
module is in the "positioning" mode when a positioning process has been completed, the
controller is still enabled and the control bit ProfileEnable remains set.
Control sequence
1. PLC:
– Select and thus start the positioning profile via the 4 control bits PNoSet_x (binary
coded) in the control word Ctrl1.
– The control bit Ctrl1.ProfEnable remains set.
2. ECSxP axis module:
ð Status bits Stat1.InTarget and Stat1.DwellTime are reset and the selected profile
number is accepted (display in Stat1.PNoAct_x).
3. PLC:
– Wait until the selected positioning profile has been started in the ECSxPaxis
module.
Display: Status bits Stat1.PNoAct_x, Stat1.InTarget = 0, Stat1.DwellTime = 0).
4. PLC:
– Wait until the profile function has been processed or positioning has been
completed.
Display: Status bits Stat1.InTarget = 1 and Stat1.DwellTime = 1.
ð If the target position has been reached, status bits Stat1.InTarget and
Stat1.DwellTime are both set to 1.
5. Proceed with step 1 for the next profile.
I
Tip!
Quickest possible profile sequence by specifying new profile numbers during
the running positioning process in step 4 of the control sequence:
ƒ
In this case, the sequence profile is started immediately after the profile
generator has reached the previous target position (setpoint−based).
ƒ
The dwell time is not awaited anymore and the Stat1.DwellTime status bit is
not set in the meantime.
ƒ
Depending on the setting of the target window, it may occur that
Stat1.InTarget status bit is not set either when changing to the new profile.
