A manual jog requires the following commissioning steps:
Setting
Brief description
Detailed
information
1.
Set parameters for the
manual control.
Set the following codes in the GDC parameter menu in
Positioning
W Manual jog:
l
C3020 (traversing speed)
l
C3021 (acceleration)
l
C3022 (deceleration)

2.
Save parameter set.
Set C0003 = 1.
3.
Enable controller.

Press the
l
Green LED is lit continuously if X6/SI1 = HIGH,
X6/SI2 = HIGH, and the controller has been enabled via
the master control (PLC).
l
Green LED is blinking if X6/SI1 = HIGH and X6/SI2 = HIGH.
(No enable via master control!)

4.
Set the direction of rotation
for manual control.
Set the following codes in the GDC parameter menu in Short
setup
W Operating mode:
l
C4010 = 3 (control interface C4040)
l
Control bits for CCW rotation (JogCCW):
– C4040/bit 12 = 1
– C4040/bit 13 = 0
ð Changeover to "ManualJog"state
– C4045/bit 2 = 1 (status bit Stat1.PStatManJog)
l
Control bits for CW rotation (JogCW):
– C4040/bit 12 = 0
– C4040/bit 13 = 1
ð Changeover to "ManualJog"state
– C4045/bit 2 = 1 (status bit Stat1.PStatManJog)
l
Control bits for manual jog stop:
– C4040/bit 12 = 0
– C4040/bit 13 = 0
ð Changeover to the "Stand−by" state
– C4045/Bit 0 = 1 (status bit Stat1.PStatStdBy)
Note:
In the case of C4040/bit 12 = 1 and bit 13 = 1, manual jog is
interrupted until one of the two bits is set to "0". The state
remains unchanged.
