You are about to enable a new zoning configuration.
This action will replace the old zoning configuration with the
current configuration selected. If the update includes changes
to one or more traffic isolation zones, the update may result in
localized disruption to traffic on ports associated with
the traffic isolatoin zone changes
Do you want to enable ’TI_Config’ configuration (yes, y, no, n): [no] y

switch:admin>
Switch:admin> zone --show
Defined TI zone configuration:
TI Zone Name: TI_Zone_Blue
Port List: 20,6; 20,4; 30,8; 30,10
Configured Status: Activated / Failover-Enabled
Enabled Status: Activated / Failover-Enabled
TI Zone Name: TI_Zone_Red
Port List: 20,5; 20,3; 30,7; 30,9
Configured Status: Activated / Failover-Enabled
Enabled Status: Activated / Failover-Enabled
The enabled status now displays as "Activated".
Creating a single TI zone for all paths
Create a single TI zone for all paths if you want TI traffic to failover to other paths in the TI zone.
1. Create a single TI zone with failover enabled.
The TI zone must include the ingress and egress EX_Ports, as well as the E_Ports between the two
backbone switches. Do not include the edge fabric E_Ports or device PWWNs.
switch:admin> zone --create -t ti TI_Zone_ALL -p "20,3; 20,4; 20,5; 20,6; 30,7;
30,8; 30,9 30,10"
By default, a new TI zone is configured as "Activated" with failover enabled.
2. Display defined TI zone.
switch:admin> zone --show
Defined TI zone configuration:
TI Zone Name: TI_Zone_ALL
Port List: 20,3; 20,4 20,5; 20,6; 30,7; 30,8; 30,9; 30,10
Configured Status: Activated / Failover-Enabled
Enabled Status: Deactivated
Note that although the configured status is "Activated", the enabled status is "Deactivated".
3. Activate the TI zone.
switch:admin> cfgactvshow
