instrument information

The instrument information server function interprets one
UDP packet to be one command and returns a single packet
(containing the CX information) in response to the command.

In the command packet, parameters corresponding to the
desired information are placed one after another.
Parameter
Description

Outputs all information that is output using the
parameters below (serial, model, host, ip).
serial
Outputs the serial number.
model
Outputs the manufacturer, model, and
firmware version.
host
Outputs the host name (the host name
specified in section 2.3).
ip
Outputs the IP address (the host name
specified in section 2.3).
Example
Query the IP address and host name. (Of the
two frames below, the top frame represents the
command packet, the bottom frame represents e
response packet.)

Description • Separate each parameter with one or more
blanks (space, tab, carriage return, line feed).
• Parameters are not case sensitive.
• Undefined parameters will be ignored.
• Parameters beyond the 32nd parameter are
ignored.
