Explanation
Saving Data
• The GX/GP will create a new directory to store the data in each time you save data.
Directory name: Specified string_YYMMDD_HHMMSS (the values of YY to SS are the
date and time of operation).
Save directory
• Display data or event data that is in the process of adding data cannot be saved.
• The save operation explained here merely copies the data in the internal memory. It does
not save the unsaved data in the internal memory ( see the explanation in page 1-91 in
section 1.9.2, “Setting the Save Method to Media (Auto save or manual save) and Media
• Data saving is aborted when the storage medium becomes full. Use a storage medium
with sufficient free space when saving data.

Displaying Reports
You can display the report data in the internal memory.

Displaying Report Data

Press
MENU.
The menu screen appears.

Tap the
Browse tab and then Report.
Reports appear.
Switching the Report Data
Scroll the report channels
Number of the displayed report data entry
Number of report data entries in the internal memory
Denominator: Number of all report channels
Numerator: The last displayed channel number
Report data status
Indicates that the following occurred
between the report interval.
B: Burnout
E: Error data
O: Overflow
P: Power failure
C: Time change
Average, maximum, minimum, sum, or instantaneous value
Unit
Tag or channel number
The report window shows “the number of the displayed report data entry/the number of
report data entries in the internal memory.” The largest report data number is the most
recent report data entry.
