FILE PullĆdown Menu

The FILE pull-down menu contains commands for managing various file
operations. Table 3-1 describes the commands in the FILE pull-down menu.

Command

Description

Open TS File...

Opens a stream file storedin the /main/usr/ts directory of the MPEG

generator. When you open a new transport stream file, the currently set

insertion functions are all canceled.
When you select this command, the Select TS File dialog box appears.

Refer to Select TS Dialog Box on page 3Ć5 for more information.

LoadPreset...

Loads the specified preset file (*set). When a preset file is loaded, the

current instrument settings are changedby the file's content. Refer to

Preset File beginning on page 3Ć95, for more information about the

preset file.

Save Preset...

Saves the current instrument settings as a preset file. Refer to Preset

File beginning on page 3Ć95, for more information about the preset file.

New Folder...

Creates a new folder (subdirectory) under one of the following

factoryĆsupplied directories on the hard disk drive: /main/usr/preset,

/main/usr/ts, or /main/usr/insert. Refer to File Operations beginning on

page 3Ć99, for more information about how to create a new folder.

Copy...

Copies the specifiedfile. You can copy the files only in the insert or

preset directory. Refer to File Operations beginning on page 3Ć99, for

more information about how to copy a file.

Delete...

Deletes the specified file or folder. Before the file or folder is deleted, a

confirmation dialog box appears to confirm the delete operation. You

cannot delete the /main/usr/ts, /main/usr/insert, or /main/usr/preset

directories because these directories are required by the MPEG

generator. Refer to File Operations beginning on page 3Ć99, for more

information about how to delete a file or a holder.

Rename...

Renames the specifiedfile or folder. Refer to File Operations beginning

on page 3Ć99, for more information about how to rename a file name or

a holder name.
