Appendix A: Specifications
This section is divided into two subsections. General Characteristics lists the
functional, electrical, mechanical, and environmental characteristics of the
MPEG generator. Certifications and Compliances lists the national and
international standards to which the MPEG generator complies.
General Characteristics
This section lists the functional, electrical, mechanical, and environmental
characteristics of the MPEG generator.
All listed specifications are guaranteed unless labeled with “typical”. Typical
specifications are provided for your convenience but are not guaranteed.
The electrical characteristics listed on the following pages are valid under the
following conditions:
H The MPEG generator must be in an environment where the temperature,
altitude, humidity, and vibration conditions are within the operating limits
described in Table A-4 on page A-8.
H The MPEG generator must have a warm-up period of at least 20 minutes.
H The MPEG generator must have been calibrated and adjusted at an ambient
temperature between +20 _ C and +30 _ C.
H The MPEG generator must be operating at an ambient temperature between
+5
_ C to +40_ C, unless otherwise noted.
