Now that the formula line for P is empty, the following new formula
will be entered:

U Press the numeric keypad 2 key
U Press the NONE soft key to make 2 a unitless constant
U Press the +-*/... soft key
U Press the * dimension key to insert the multiplication symbol into
the formula
U Press the +-*/... soft key to display parentheses
U Press the ( dimension key to insert the open parenthesis into the
formula
U Press the CHAN... soft key to display channel functions
U Press the C1 dimension key to insert the Channel 1 function
U Press the +-*/... soft key repeatedly until the + arithmetic function
is displayed
U Press the + dimension key to insert the plus sign
U Press the CHAN... soft key to display channel functions
U Press the C2 dimension key to insert the Channel 2 function
U Press the +-*/... soft key repeatedly until parentheses are displayed
U Press the ) dimension key to insert the closed parenthesis
U Press the FINISH key twice to display the home screen
