VLAN Port Configuration
The VLAN Port Configuration screen in
Figure 4-6-2 appears.

The page includes the following fields:
Object Description

Port This is the logical port number for this row.
 PVID Allows to assign PVID to selected port. The range for the PVID is 1-4094.
The PVID will be inserted into all untagged frames entering the ingress port. The
PVID must as the same as the VLAN ID in that the port belongs to VLAN group,
or the untagged traffic will be dropped.
Ingress Filtering Enable ingress filtering for a port by checking the box. This parameter affects
VLAN ingress processing. If ingress filtering is enabled and the ingress port is not
a member of the classified VLAN of the frame, the frame is discarded. By default,
ingress filtering is disabled (no checkmark).

Accept Frame Type
Determines whether the port accepts all frames or only tagged frames. This
parameter affects VLAN ingress processing. If the port only accepts tagged
frames, untagged frames received on the port are discarded. By default, the field
is set to All.
24. Link Type Allow 802.1Q Untagged or Tagged VLAN for selected port.
When adding a VLAN to selected port, it tells the switch whether to keep or
remove the tag from a frame on egress.

Untag : outgoing frames without VLAN-Tagged.

Tagged : outgoing frames with VLAN-Tagged.
